Preparing Butter cookies.
11/2cup sugar,1cup butter, 2eggs, 3cups flour,1tsp. backing soda,1tsp. vanilla.
First gather all your ingredients, heat your ovan to 400.Combine sugar,butter and eggs in a large bowl.Beat at medium speed until creamy. Reduce speed to low; add all remaining ingredients. Beat,scraping bowl often,until well mixed.Place colored sugar in a small bowl.Shape rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into 1-inch balls;dip in colored sugar.Place the cookies 2 inches apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly brown.Cool for 5 minutes and then get a glass of cold milk and enjoy.
